We got the ceiling and walls sanded, vacuumed and washed. Then I did the cut-in and Bruce rolled the primer on the ceiling. Looks pretty darn good except for one spot we missed washing. Paint wouldn't stick. We'll need to fix that.
Depending on the smell, we'll move our bed into the master tonight, or in the morning. We want to try out the bed on the hall wall first. It will be a tight fit....the second closet and the hall door don't give us much room. The alternative is to put the bed under the window, which Bruce doesn't like. Besides our head board is too high to fit underneath it. Bruce suggested that we put it kiddie corner, but I'm not liking that idea much.
His office ceiling has been sanded. The master took a full gallon of primer; the bare sheet rock on the ceilings really soaks in the paint. After dinner tonight we'll go back to Lowe's and get a 5 gallon bucket of primer. They're just hard to maneuver.
I'm thinking these pictures are going to be a lot like the ones from our honeymoon. Get you minds out of the gutter! We went to Lake Tahoe for the weekend. Bruce's brother loaned him his good camera. Bruce took pictures of me all over the place. I had my little 110 camera and took one picture of him sitting in bed. Turns out, there was no film in Ron's camera. So we just have the one picture of Bruce. Most of these pictures will be of him working hard....non of me, cause he's busy working. But really, I am helping.
