Yesterday we decided that we needed to get the fence painted over at Dad's house. Plus Bruce had some yard work to do. Originally, I was just going to do it myself. Good thing that didn't happen. When Bruce was through weed eating the hill side, I had only one section of a 10 section fence done! Very, very slow going. We worked 7 hours when we finally decided that we couldn't finish it. Only had one and a half sections left. But we had forgotten our sun screen, our backs were killing us, so we called it quits for the day.
Went back this morning and finished it up. Doesn't it look great! Check!! One more thing off our list that's keeping us here rather than moving south.
Had high hopes of finishing our exterior painting here in WC today (not the trim), but it was way too windy to use the sprayer. I did manage to do some hand painting on shingles around the stairs and outlets, that we couldn't get with the sprayer. Hoping the winds will be gone tomorrow. It would be nice to get the spraying part done. Then we we return we can start working on the trim work. Bought the dark brown paint for that today.
Time to go pack up some more things to take south. Think all my fabric bins are going this trip.
