TV Room Update

TV Room:                   Opps, I just realized I wrote this weeks ago and never posted.

We made it out to La-Z-Boy for their Labor Day sale and boought 2 blue recliners.   They're waiting patiently in the dining area till the room is finished.   After buying them, we went over to Home Depot and picked up the Cinnamon Cherry paint for the accent wall in the TV Room.  Bruce was afraid it would look like a candy cane with the white molding, but it's such a deep maroon that it looks really nice.

 

The walls are painted; though there's touch up to do from nicks putting the cove molding.  Lots of puttying to do too.  There's a big dip in the ceiling; it too is old and sagging, so the cove molding has been a challenge.  What hasn't been!

 

I came down with a bad cold last week and now Bruce has it.  Makes for short working days when you feel lousy.

 

We do have (listen to me....we....) Bruce has the wiring for the Dish we'll be getting.  The internet wiring in and ready to switch over.  Moving the modem in from the living room into the TV room.  We're going to keep the antique blue print drawers and file drawer configuration to keep all the electronics on.  With the new TV being mounted on the wall, we'll have room for the DVR. 

I've been searching the internet for bar stools.  Once I've got those, Bruce can pick the right wood to make our table for under the window.

 

 

 Gotten a lot of Molly time inbetween all the work.  Been trying to learn how to use the little video camera.
