June 1 to 8, 2015

Edison came out on the 1st and put in the new Electrical meter. We ended up with 18 days of free electricity.  Well really only 16 because the first 2 days we had NO power at all.  So now we're back to where we were 2 and 1/2 weeks ago except that we we're out close to $6,000. Not sure how much Edison will reimburse us.  Edison received our claim and sent a letter back that seemed more personal than form.  There was a line in it appreciating the effort Bruce took to send all the pictures and spreadsheet of costs.  Still no word on how long it will take.

Started Sunday the 1st and continuing through to Tuesday, staining the rails and pickets for the patio fence.  Bought a solar cap for one of the posts Monday to see how it much light it will give off.  Picture shows less than a 3rd to be painted.

Since I wrote the above, Bruce has the fence in...mostly. Can't put in the section near the electrical meter until we get the patch job painted....well actually the whole house needs to be painted (except the front which we did the first year).  Still need caps on the posts. Hopefully we'll get that wall fixed, cleaned and painted soon too.  Just too many things on our list to do.

Got my garden planted the last few days.  Molly helped me yesterday with planting the carrot and radish seeds.  She wanted to stay back there and wait for them to sprout. :) She's so adorable.  The concept of 2 1/2 months is beyond her.  I have several tomatoes, red and green bell peppers, cucumbers and zucchini too.  Basil in the pot.

Bought a new and larger Tutto case for my sewing machine for the up coming DVQ retreat. Molly wanted to check it out and decided she'd fit inside and I could take her with me instead of my machine.  Like I said...adorable. Tutto is a San Francisco based company and can't recommend their products enough.  They make a lot more than sewing machine cases. Check them out.

Miscellaneous pictures of Molly.  Last week when she was over we made matching pajama pants for Baby Max like the ones I made Molly. Then we back some Incredible Peanut butter cookies.
