Bruce made the trip alone this time. He ran into some terrible fog going up Interstate 5. He stopped at a rest stop to wait to see if it lifted. Said from the parking lot he couldn't even see the buildings.
He got a new wood door up in the master bedroom. It had been stained and varathaned down here, but he cut the door knob hole and hinges up there. Also got the new range top installed and vented. Put more polish on the hardwood floors.
On December 5th we celebrated Molly's 3rd birthday. Grampa and I took her to the zoo one day so Mama could work on birthday plans. We had such a good time.
Our dear friends, Bob and Bonnie Littleton, came down from WA state to celebrate an early Christmas with Bonnie's oldest son, DIL and granddaughters. We had a great visit over dinner one night. This is the second year in a row we've been able to get together; hoping this will become a yearly event.
Of course December is mostly about getting ready for Christmas. Didn't bake as much but still had lots of goodies around.
