We're Still Alive!

Sick

Yes, we're still here and alive though Bruce wasn't sure a few days ago.  He never has the flu for more than a day, two at the tops, but this one has hit him hard.  He's been sick for 10 days now.  Doesn't help that he's only take half days off from working.

We have the yucky brown paint in another two rooms covered up. YEA!  Got a coat of primer on the guest bathroom sheet rock and  the ceiling where he didn't take the old down.  Bruce just patched more areas on the ceiling he had missed.  Trying to fill in the texture they had used on it.  Plus we got the guest bedroom painted a beautiful deep aquamarine.  Hope all you visitors will like it.  Hint, hint. :)  I painted the baseboards and door casings for that room and the bath too.  You'll see the color  it in the picture.
Oh, some of you probably don't know.  We have changed the assignment of the bedrooms.  Bruce has always wanted a "TV" room.  So that the TV isn't the focus point in the living room.  He wanted us to be able to arrange the furniture more for conversation rather than everything facing the TV.  What was going to be the guest room is now going to be the TV room.  He's going to break through the wall to make a door from the living room to the TV room.  I'm attaching another layout of the house.  The red areas indicate change in the room assignments and where the new door will be.  We won't be taking out the door to the hall way....just adding a door.   If you click on the picture it will enlarge so you can see it better.
It puts the guest bedroom down next to the guest bath, which makes good sense.  It also gives our guests the nicest and brightest room in the house.  It has two windows.  Hope you like it. :)
Still enjoying our time with Miss Molly.  She is just getting so big and smart.  Everyone is right, being a grandparent is the best!  All the joy and fun of a little one without the lack of sleep!  Took Molly to the park and she's learned how to climb the stairs of the slide.  Because Bruce hasn't had the energy to go out, the kids brought us lunch yesterday, so we had a nice visit.  Makes being here all worthwhile.

Well, no pictures.  Apparently Blogspot is having issues with their browse upload that haven't been fixed yet.  Hey, I figure how to do it without their browser.  Took too much time, hope they get it fixed soon.

Thanks, it's working out well. I never remember to look to see if people have made comment! According to the list no one reads it either. You must be my only one!
