Breakfast with the Kids

Yesterday we slept in and then went and had a great breakfast with the kids at Mrs. Olsen's in Oxnard.  Walked out on the beach afterwards.  It was such a nice morning.

 

Bruce re-patched the ceiling and sanded it.  After I washed it down we painted it. Today we work on the walls. Think 1 maybe two walls will be the toasted cashew we put in my sewing room up north. The other two will be the color we used in my sewing room down here. Only because we only have enough for that many walls of each. The toasted cashew will be on the walls we see while sitting in our chairs. B doesn’t like the other color, so that will be behind us and over the mantle.  It's really only temporary.  When we get around to tearing down the fireplace and maybe the bookcase, we'll have decided on a color we want in there.  Until then, just neutrals.

 

Hoping to get it done today.  Would like to be able to watch Molly either tomorrow (probably Wednesday) so that Alissa can finish up her painting.  It will be nice to have our house put back together.
